Straight out of Gym Jones’ playbook yesterday; this was Maximus’ workout.
Breathing ladders are a nicely sadistic way to control your breathing… or end up doing a lot more suffering. Do one rep, rest for one breath; do two, rest two. If you start huffing and puffing, you don’t get much of a break.
These start to get interesting in the low to mid teens, at least the last time I did them. I just want to get the blood flowing and work the kinks out of my mid and upper back before welcoming some out-of-town guests for the weekend.
