[WotD] Tuesday, July 28


So, yeah, as previously averred to, today’s workout pretty much made up for yesterday’s non-event. I revisited the first workout from Starting Strength, since the last lifting day was Friday. My current plan is to do Tues/Thurs/Sat this week, and then Mon/Wed/Fri beginning next week.

That said, with very small apologies to Ice Cube, today was a good day at the gym.

After Hours:

Pullups: 2×10

Chinups: 1×10 (chins were done between pulls, then I drove home to do the rest)

Back Squats: 95# @ 3×5 / 115# @ 2×5 / 135# @ 1×5 / 155# @ 1×5 / 175# @ 3×5 (PR)

Bench Press: 45# @ 2×5 / 95# @ 1×5 / 115# @ 1×5 / 135# @ 1×5 / 155# @ 1×5 / 165# @ 3×5

Deadlift: 135# @ 2×5 / 205# @ 1×5 /245# @ 1×5 / 295# @ 1×5 / 325# @ 1×5 + 1×3 (PR)

Press: 75# @ 1×5

Total Volume (new, ongoing statistic): 19,350

(Friday’s TV: 18,050)
