5/3/1 – Overhead Press – Week 2

Had nothing whatsoever in the tank after a long day of work and a crappy night’s sleep. Could barely hold the bar well at the heavier weights, so once I got it locked out before beginning, I was having to hold it up there for quite a while to get comfortable, which is not exactly a recipe for getting comfortable. Oh well.

Warmup:

Overhead Press: 1×10 @ 45

Overhead Squat: 1×5 @ 45

Front Squat: 2×5 @ 45 / 1×3 @ 125

Work Sets:

Overhead Press: 2×3 @ 95 / 1×3 @ 105 / 1×3 @ 115 / 1×3 @ 125

Shrugs: 2×15 @ 125
