15/9/3, week 1, cycle whatever – deadlift day
Knowing I’d tweaked it badly when I tried 345 two weeks ago, I had modest expectations.
Deadlifts: 1×10 @ 135 / 1×8 @ 185 / 1×5 @ 225 / 3×5 @ 275 / 3×5 @ 295 / 1×5 @ 315
I was really hoping to do 3×5 @ 315, or maybe even a max-rep set at 335, but given the twitchiness after the first set of 315, I decided that I’ve had enough of not being able to pick up heavy stuff, and called it.
Just as well, since about 4pm on, today has kind of fucking sucked, in terms of work exploding, traffic, and my goddamned deadbolt just spinning when I use my key.
