15/9/3 – Deadlifts
No “+” until 225 becomes either the first work set or one of the warmups, so it’s on par with where it fell during the previous cycle. That will probably be two weeks out if the recovery pace remains steady at 20 pounds per week. I’m hoping that will hold at least through the rest of July and into August. Ballparking, I’d like to see increments of 20 until 315, and then go up by 10’s or 15’s depending how a given day feels.
Today, as has much of this week, felt pretty darn good.
Deadlift: 1×15 @ 135 (using Fat Gripz; overhand and then mixed grip each way)
Knees to Elbows: 5×10
Deadlift: 3×5 @ 185 (snatch grip) / 3×5 @ 205 (1st set snatch grip) / 3×5+8 @ 225 (1st set overhand, alternating mixed grip on 2nd set, 5/5/2/1 mixed grip last set)
