15/9/3+ Bench Press
Not quite what I was hoping for, but after yesterday’s relative idiocy, I didn’t feel at the top of my game going in. So, it was pretty much a GILGO* session, followed by mowing and watering the lawn.
Bench Press: 1×20 @ 45 / 1×10 @ 95 / 1×5 @ 135 / 1×3 @ 175
Bench Press: 3×3 @ 205 / 1×2 @ 215 (got about 2/3 of the way up, and couldn’t lock it out) / 1×15 @ 165 (PR)
EZ Bar Curls: 1×20 @ 15 / 5×10 @ 65 (varying grip widths, two done reverse grip)
Going to stick with the same working weights for next week. If the same thing happens (which I’m hoping is not the case), then I’ll reset the cycle and continue to ratchet my way up.
* Get in, lift, get out
