Let me just say that trying to do this on the back-end of Con*Crud and four weeks after breaking my damn hand was not the most fun I’ve ever had. I took a pass on the pushups because bending my hand backwards puts pressure on what we suspect is a sprained pinkie/wrist combo platter; I did a plank hold for about 90 seconds instead.

Always good to see a lot of PRs up on the board, whether it’s a tie or an outright besting of the previous mark. For the squats, everyone improved, whether it was by a little (two or three seconds) or a lot (20+ seconds). Situps were also a wellspring of improvement.
Since that wasn’t really much of a workout, and Pablo has decided to host a bench pressing meet at his place on 25 October, I wanted to see how the injured paw would hold up to that move once I got home. Since it was reset day anyway, nothing too crazy was in store. 2/3 of my estimated 1RM of 240 suggested a working weight of 165, but based on the relative ease of the precursor sets, I just went to 175.
Note to self: You wrote the fucking program, pay attention to it.
Bench Press: 1×20 @ 45 / 1×10 @ 95
Bench Press: 3×5 @ 135 / 3×5 @ 155 / 2×5 @ 175 (stapled on the last rep)
